Images of species taken on road verge, north of Hollacombe, near Wembury, Devon. 17.04.07. This species is the hybrid between the Common Primrose and Cowslip. As well as where both parent species occur in the wild, this hybrid can also be found in gardens with or without parent species occuring. This cross has also been used by nurseries to produce many large different coloured blooms for garden use.

See Garden Polyanthus.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the flora of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but a few species may only be determined by observing microscopic differences that are characteristic to any one species.
