There seems to be quite a bit of variation in this species; having found a large fern with serrated pinnules, which look more similar to P. cambrica, and which measured 50cm in length. See images variation 2. Here I must thank Matt Stribley for his help in eastablishing the identity of this serrate form.

Polypodium interjectum is found widely across the Devon and Cornwall region in various natural and urban habitats.
