Images of species taken at Blunts Lane Allotments, Estover, Plymouth, Devon; 01.08.04; also during the Marine Biological Association's Bioblitz Event 2011 at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Cremyll, Cornwall. 01.10.11.

Photographed liverworts found on surface of plant pot; and also on dark wet paths previously treated with weedkiller. This species is one of the most common liverworts, in the wild the species can generally be found anywhere, where there is some shade and moisture.

people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but a few species may only be determined by observing microscopic differences that are characteristic to any one species.
